Rental FAQ

If we are able to honor your rental request, we will contact you to collect payment and get a credit card on file for incidentals.

If we are not able to honor your rental request, we will contact you with potential alternative options or deny your request outright.

Your card will be charged as soon as you complete the checkout process.

If gear is returned damaged or otherwise in need of repair, we will notify of you the charges at least 24 hours before billing the card on file, to allow you time to make any necessary arrangements.

We only rent locally, so in an effort to keep costs low, we do not ship our items.  You can either pick up your items from our location, or we can deliver your items to you for a fee.

When it’s time to return the equipment, you can either drop it off at our location, or we can pick up the items for an additional fee.

Our location will be revealed to you via email prior to the start of your rental period.

Potentially.  As long as it does not conflict with any other rentals / equipment needs, we would be happy to extend your rental!  If approved, you will be automatically billed for the additional time using the card on file.

If you elect to enroll in our protection plan, you’ll be covered for the costs of repair or replacement to a damaged item.  You pay a $50 premium up front, and if any equipment is damaged, you only pay a deductible of 10% of the replacement cost of the product.

For example, if you break a $1000 lens and it costs $300 to repair it, you would only be responsible for $100 (1000 x 10% = 100).  We’ll pick up the rest of the repair costs.  Without the protection plan, you’d be liable for the full repair / replacement cost.

What isn’t covered by the protection plan?

  • Loss due to negligence.
  • Theft.
  • Water Damage.

It’s okay.  Accidents happen.  After we receive the damaged gear, we will send you a notice summarizing the damages and the estimated costs of repair.  We will work with you to either:

  • Bill the full amount due to your card on file.
  • Set up a payment plan

If you signed up for the protection plan, you will be billed accordingly.

You are responsible for the full replacement cost of the lost or stolen gear.  We will work with you to either:

  • Bill the full amount due to your card on file.
  • Set up a payment plan

Not right now, but we’re working on implementing one!  Don’t worry, your past purchases will apply to the new program!
